Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy tickets for the Amport Summer Fete 2026 (the “Event”) through tickets.amportvillage.org.uk. By completing a purchase you confirm you have read and accept these terms.

Tickets are sold for the following:

• Children's Event — admission to the children's activities
• Supper on the Green — seated supper
• Experience Only — general admission to the fete

Tickets are issued electronically. Your confirmation email contains your booking reference; please bring it with you (printed or on your phone) for admission.

Tickets are personal to you but are not strictly named — if a guest you booked for can no longer attend, you may bring a substitute in their place without notifying us.

Payment is taken at the point of booking via SumUp. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes. We do not store or see your card details.

Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email at the address you provided. If you do not receive one within a few minutes, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or where the Event itself is cancelled (see below). Because the Event is run by volunteers in support of community causes, all revenue is committed in advance to costs of running the day.

If you have a particular hardship (illness, bereavement, etc.) please get in touch at amportfete2026@gmail.com and we'll consider individual requests on their merits.

We hope nothing will go wrong, but in the rare event that we have to cancel, postpone, or materially change the Event for any reason (severe weather, public health restrictions, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond our control):

• We will contact you using the email address you provided at booking, and post an update on the Amport Village website.
• If the Event is cancelled in full, we will refund your ticket price (less any non-refundable transaction fees levied by our payment provider, if applicable).
• If the Event is postponed, your ticket will remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, contact us for a refund.

Our liability for cancellation is limited to the ticket price paid. We are not liable for any incidental costs you may have incurred (travel, accommodation, etc.).

By attending you agree to:

• Behave reasonably and respect other attendees, volunteers, and the venue.
• Follow any safety instructions given by stewards or organisers.
• Supervise any children in your party.
• Accept that photographs and video may be taken at the Event for use in promotional material. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let a steward know on arrival.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask any person to leave the Event whose behaviour is, in our reasonable opinion, disruptive, unsafe, or offensive. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

You attend the Event at your own risk. We will take reasonable care to ensure the Event is safe, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude liability for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to your personal property.
• Indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
